On Friday Osmond take on Plainview at 7:00 PM. Osmond have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Plainview are surely hoping to exploit.
Osmond took a serious blow against St. Francis last Friday, falling 6-56. Osmond got a solid performance out of senior Anthony Heiman, who picked up 56 yards on the ground and threw 1 TD; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Plainview and Elgin/Pope John. Plainview were fully in charge, breezing past Elgin/Pope John 68-12. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-6.
Plainview's win lifted them to 2-2 while Osmond's defeat dropped them down to 2-2. In their win, Plainview relied heavily on junior Nate Christiansen, who passed for 243 yards and 6 touchdowns. Osmond will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
