Adding to the longest winning streak in 6A District 3 this week, Columbia beat Orange Park 44-20. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Englewood scaled the state rankings by moving to 339 from 377 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Rams were able to move up by besting Lee 16-7.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Columbia takes on second place White.
Lonnie Underwood of the Columbia is just 33 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Underwood has rushed for 967 yards on 112 carries so far this year.
Two of the top teams in 6A District 3 will go toe-to-toe this week when Brian Allen's team takes on the Commanders. The Tigers' offense has recorded 196 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while White has permitted only 33 on the year.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Paul Pierson's team takes on Columbia. The Commanders have allowed 33 points this season, while the Tigers have given up 64.
Middleburg was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league. The Broncos beat Parker 14-8 earlier in the week.
