After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Grove, the Southland Rebels were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 67-22 win over LeRoy-Ostrander. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for Southland this season.
LeRoy-Ostrander's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jenna Olson, who scored nine points, and Miranda Nagel who scored six points along with three blocks.
Southland's win bumped their record up to 6-17. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they dropped their record down to 3-20 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Southland will be playing at home against Blooming Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-28 loss vs. Grand Meadow on the 12th.
