The Northmor Golden Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mt. Gilead Indians at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Northmor has three straight  wins, Mt. Gilead has six straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Even though Northmor has not done well against Centerburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. Northmor walked away with  a   63-52  win over Centerburg.
 Northmor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Drew Hammond, who  scored 15 points along with five  steals. Another player making a difference was  Grant Bentley, who  scored 21 points.
 Meanwhile, Mt. Gilead came up short against Danville on Saturday and fell  58-47.
 Northmor has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Mt. Gilead, they bumped their record down to 3-8 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road.
 Everything came up roses for Northmor against Mt. Gilead when the teams last played  back in December of 2023 as the  squad secured a  73-43 win. Will Northmor repeat their success,  or does  Mt. Gilead have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
