The Revere Minutemen lost against the Copley Indians back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Revere received a tough blow as they fell 51-36 to Copley. Revere has struggled against Copley recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Copley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Izzy Callaway led the charge by scoring 20 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Callaway has scored at least a third of Copley's points. Another player making a difference was Kami Ayoup, who scored 16 points.
Revere's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Copley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Revere will face off against Chippewa at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chippewa presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Revere in Ohio (Chippewa is ranked 70th, while Revere is ranked 294th). As for Copley, they will head out on the road to face off against Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
