Hanahan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonah Auckenthaler, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 44.7% of Hanahan's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Muirheid, who scored nine points.
Beaufort's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samari Bonds, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Brandon Blackmon was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Hanahan has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Beaufort, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
