Softball Recap: Seaholm Has No Trouble Against Grosse Pointe South

Grosse Pointe South typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Seaholm proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Blue Devils 8-1. Considering the Maples have won six games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Seaholm is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Grosse Pointe South, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.

Coming up, Seaholm will take on Adams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grosse Pointe South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grosse Pointe North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
