Make it seven blowout wins for the Straughn Tigers this season. They blew past Pleasant Home 51-14 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Straughn sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Ora Hall was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Allyx Williamson, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Straughn has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Pleasant Home, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Straughn will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Red Level at 5:30 p.m. Red Level will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Straughn is ranked 140th). As for Pleasant Home, they will head out on the road to face off against Georgiana at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Georgiana is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.1 points per game.
