Weehawken has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the American History Bald Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Weehawken knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully the Bald Eagles like a good challenge.
Weehawken pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paramus.
Meanwhile, American History's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They lost to Bloomfield on the road by a decisive 72-55 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Edgar De Los Santos, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmad Woodard, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Weehawken has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for American History, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
