Ian McCrary posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

McCrary's strong effort led Daniel over Travelers Rest and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
