Marshall got themselves on the board against Worthington on Tuesday, but Worthington never followed suit. They blew past the Trojans 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Marshall and bumps their season record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Worthington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Coincidentally, Marshall and Worthington will both be playing St. Peter the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
