The Park Rapids Panthers will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Aitkin Gobblers at 7:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Park Rapids has eight straight wins, Aitkin has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Park Rapids got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Larson out in front who scored 25 points. Larson hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Noah Morris was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six steals.
Aitkin suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 83-55 defeat at the hands of Moose Lake/Willow River. While losing is never fun, Aitkin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while Moose Lake/Willow River is ranked 81st).
Park Rapids pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Aitkin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
