Diablo Foothill recap November 13, 2013
Las Lomas moved up to 244 from 272 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Diablo Foothill. The Knights were able to move up by besting Dougherty Valley 48-14.
The win marks 10th in a row for the Campolindo.
Miramonte's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Bethel threw for 343 and 6 touchdowns and Dominic Paoletti had 161 yards receiving. On the ground Terrance Frank contributed 20 yards. Grant Miller helped Miramonte's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 68 yards.
He went 18-24 with 0 interceptions.
Frank was the best running back in the league this week. In 6 carries, he ran for 20 yards as the Matadors topped Alhambra. Teammate Ray Clark added to the ground attack by rushing for 20 yards.
Miramonte's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Matadors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Drew Anderson has thrown for 2,378 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Paoletti has 52 catches for 1,023 yards.
Las Lomas took down the Wildcats 48-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
