Air Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Tess Heater and Alli Dreessen were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Heater also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, while Elizabeth put up some points on Tuesday, the same can't be said for The Vanguard School. The Cardinals walked away with a 13-0 win over the Coursers.
Air Academy better keep an eye on Annabelle Nelson. She was instrumental in Elizabeth's win, rushing for 57 yards and one score. Those 57 rushing yards gave Nelson a new career-high. Emma Guhl also deserves a mention for her punt return touchdown.
Air Academy's record is now 5-2. As for Elizabeth, their record now sits at 7-2.
