College Park hasn't had much luck against The Woodlands recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to challenge the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in College Park's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
College Park is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Caney Creek: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cavaliers blew the Panthers out of the water with a 52-6 final score. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

College Park relied on the efforts of Antonio Booker, who gained 101 total yards and four touchdowns, and Camden Hughes, who threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The Cavaliers also got help from Jordan Styles, who showed off his sure hands for 100 receiving yards.
College Park was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Woodlands). Their defense stepped up to hand Cleveland a 69-0 shutout on Friday. The Highlanders pushed the score to 49-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians had no chance of recovering from.
The Woodlands' win came from a few key players College Park will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jack Daulton, who threw for 114 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 145.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another rusher making a difference was Lincoln Halsey, who rushed for 82 yards and one score on only six carries.
College Park's record is now 7-0. As for The Woodlands, their record now sits at 5-1.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Hughes and Daulton. Hughes just won't slow down this season and has thrown 24 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 261.7 passing yards per game. Daulton has been a dominant force too and has thrown 11 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 189.2 passing yards per game.
College Park took a serious blow against The Woodlands in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 66-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Daulton, who rushed for 236 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry.
