LaFayette won the last time they faced Chattooga and things went their way on Monday too. The Ramblers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ramblers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: LaFayette took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15.

LaFayette was led to victory by Caydence Tinklepaugh and Anabelle Penland. Tinklepaugh had five digs and two aces, while Penland had five digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: LaFayette was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 21 consecutive games dating back to last season.

LaFayette's record is now 9-4. As for Chattooga, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

The future could be bright for both LaFayette and Chattooga: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Meanwhile, Chattooga will look to extend Woodland's five-game losing streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
