Meanwhile, Crofton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 55-45 win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Crofton has scored all season.
Niobrara/Verdigre pushed their record up to 3-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Crofton, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
