In what's become a running theme this season, the Carlisle Christian Academy Knights gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-34 victory over Varsity Opponent. The win was just what Carlisle Christian Academy needed coming off of a 80-41 defeat in their prior matchup.
Gabe Kearney was his usual excellent self, scoring 42 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Collin Wevodau was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Carlisle Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 16 of their last 17 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 272-1041-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlisle Christian Academy will square off against Bedford County CIA at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bedford County CIA comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on North Central Texas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
