The Carlisle Bison will square off against the Beebe Badgers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
On Friday, Carlisle didn't have quite enough to beat McCrory and fell 5-4.
Chloe Smith made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of MaeCee Motton, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, Beebe had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Quitman 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Badgers have posted since May 16, 2025.
Paydon Wiles spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.
At the plate, Beebe's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Hall, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Beebe hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.
Beebe's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Carlisle, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Beebe's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Carlisle has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. It's a different story for Beebe, though, as they've only averaged .354. Will they be able to contain Carlisle's hitters?
Carlisle couldn't quite finish off Beebe when the teams last played back in March of 2025 and fell 5-3. Will the Bison have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
