Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Dayville/Monument on the road at 2:00 PM on Friday. Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler will be strutting in after a victory while Dayville/Monument will be stumbling in from a loss.
Their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They put the hurt on Burnt River with a sharp 39-12 win. Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 13-66, which was the final score in Dayville/Monument's tilt against Harper last Friday.
Dayville/Monument's defeat took them down to 1-3 while Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler's win pulled them up to 1-2. We'll see if Dayville/Monument can steal Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler's luck or if Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler records another win instead.
