 Travis Monett was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Adam Roumanos was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Coy Jones, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Elko  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
The  victory  got Elko back to even at 15-15. As for Fernley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16-1.
