The Sonora Wildcats entered their tilt with the Bret Harte Bullfrogs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Sonora walked away with a 62-49 win over Bret Harte on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sonora also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Riley Edwards continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Solis, who scored nine points.
Sonora's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-10. As for Bret Harte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sonora will take on Argonaut at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Argonaut focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. As for Bret Harte, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Summerville at 7:15 p.m. Summerville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
