 In other batting news,  Montana Huitt was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 McQueen  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in ten consecutive  matchups.
 McQueen's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Reno, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-27-1.
