Rising Sun has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jac-Cen-Del recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Shiners will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Rising Sun is coming into the game hot, having won their last 14 games.
Rising Sun's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over South Ripley. The Shiners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Elaina Titkemeyer tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last six games.
On the hitting side, Ryan Works was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Hannah Kremer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Rising Sun was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in 11 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jac-Cen-Del). They blew past Switzerland County 15-9 on Monday. The Eagles not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 20, 2024 (when they won 13-4).
The team relied heavily on Savannah Steele, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Taylor Swinney was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.
Rising Sun's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-16.
Jac-Cen-Del's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Rising Sun has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Jac-Cen-Del, though, as they've been averaging only 2.6 strikeouts. Will Rising Sun keep running through batters, or will the Eagles buck the trend?
Everything went Rising Sun's way against Jac-Cen-Del in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Rising Sun made off with a 13-0 win. Do the Shiners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
