Northwest put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tipton Cardinals a 6-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Northwest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Tipton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Northwest has already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Orrick on the 29th. We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up.
