The Heavener Wolves were the 50-37 winner over the Panama Razorbacks when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Heavener took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Panama on Thursday. Heavener has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Heavener's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christopher Hetherington, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Cook, who scored eight points.
Heavener's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Panama, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
Heavener didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-38 defeat vs. Hartshorne on the 9th. Panama does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
