Frontier has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Lompoc has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Frontier Titans will host the Lompoc Braves at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Frontier 3.3, Lompoc 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Saturday, Frontier earned an 8-5 win over Arroyo Grande.

Taylor Sloss spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Charley Hawkins was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Adalynn Garcia was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Hawkins wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Frontier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. Frontier is a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, while Lompoc put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Templeton. Lompoc put the hurt on Templeton with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 11 runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Alex Brooks's shutout, as she gave up just five hits.
At the plate, Lompoc let Grace Day and Rianna Stouppe run wild. Day went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double, while Stouppe scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most RBI Day has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brynn Reyna, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.
Frontier's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lompoc, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Frontier has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Lompoc struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Frontier beat Lompoc 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Does Frontier have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lompoc turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
