Clarksdale's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jumon Brown, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Howard, who scored 12 points.
Clarksdale has yet to win a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 1-6 record. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Palmer, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksdale will take on Cleveland Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
