Will Rogers College found their leader in underclassman Branden Crosslen, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crosslen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nehemiah Rhodes, who scored six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Coweta's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 62-41 loss at the hands of Edison.
Will Rogers College has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season. As for Coweta, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.
Will Rogers College came out on top in a nail-biter against Coweta when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 58-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Will Rogers College since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
