Jayden Myers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, Saniah Atchison was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
