Mathis has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats at 7:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, things could have been worse for Mathis, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-41 loss to San Diego. That's two games in a row now that Mathis has lost by exactly 16 points.
Meanwhile, Skidmore-Tynan was able to grind out a solid victory over Banquete on Friday, taking the game 45-35. The win was just what Skidmore-Tynan needed coming off of a 60-23 defeat in their prior match.
Cole Rivers was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Alexander Gonzalez, who scored nine points.
Mathis' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Skidmore-Tynan, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
