Their rough 46-25 loss to The Master's Academy might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Haywood Christian Academy has suffered yet this season.
The Master's Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Davis, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Holiday, who scored 11 points along with five assists and two steals.
Haywood Christian Academy bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for The Master's Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haywood Christian Academy and Veritas Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Veritas Christian Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for The Master's Academy, they will play host again and welcome Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
