Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harlingen). They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging an 83-26 win over the Hanna Golden Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Harlingen was led to victory by Aubrey Williams and Sarah Sanusi. Williams went 6 for 9 on her way to 14 points and five steals, while Sanusi almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Those five steals gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaris Martinez, who posted ten points and three steals.

Harlingen smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Harlingen has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Hanna, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-19.

Harlingen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-45 victory against Los Fresnos on the 14th. Hanna has also already played their next contest (against Harvest Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
