The Maranatha Minutemen will face off against the Kaiser Cats at TBD on Tuesday. Maranatha is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Maranatha had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Rough Riders onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory. It was an even better day for Luca Youssefian as he scored three goals for his team.
Meanwhile, Kaiser had just enough and edged Beverly Hills out 2-1 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kaiser.
Maranatha has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6-3 record this season. As for Kaiser, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5-4.
Maranatha suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to Kaiser in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Maranatha avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
