Danny Rosales had a dynamite game for West Shores, rushing for 227 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. Rosales didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
West Shores' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged five passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Shelton Muniz and Rosales. Muniz is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Andres Alvarez was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing two fumbles, and making five total tackles.
Horizon Prep now has a losing record at 1-2. As for West Shores, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
