The Geneva Eagles won the last time they faced the Harvey Red Raiders, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Geneva came out on top against Harvey by a score of 57-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Geneva.
Harvey lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braylon Johnson, who scored 11 points. Armani Hall was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Harvey were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Geneva's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Harvey, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geneva will take on Chardon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harvey's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wickliffe at 6:45 p.m. on December 22nd. Wickliffe is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
