Indian Creek entered their tilt with Catholic Central with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Indian Creek blew past Catholic Central 64-27 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-13.
Kylie Anderson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Scott, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Bellaire posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2023 on Thursday. They blew past St. Clairsville 54-29. Given Bellaire's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while St. Clairsville is ranked 627th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Indian Creek's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.56 points. As for Bellaire, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Indian Creek came up short against Bellaire in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 59-52. Can Indian Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
