The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Fairmont Prep Huskies at 12:00 p.m. on January 15th. Fairmont Prep took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Desert Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Even though Temecula Prep scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, Desert Christian Academy still came out on top. Desert Christian Academy took down Temecula Prep 71-55.
Desert Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Augustine Youssef led the charge by scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Joshua Brown, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fairmont Prep came up short against Pacifica Christian/Orange County on Tuesday and fell 54-44.
Desert Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Fairmont Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
