Softball Recap: Forbush Has No Trouble Against East Surry

Forbush barely beat East Surry the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Cardinals on Friday. Considering the Falcons have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Forbush's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for East Surry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Forbush will welcome North Wilkes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Surry, they will venture away from home to face off against West Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
