Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warner). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wilburton Diggers 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since January 20th.

Warner's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Wilburton, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warner will venture away from home to face off against Hartshorne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Warner has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wilburton, they will head out on the road to square off against Stigler at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stigler will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wilburton surely won't give up without a fight.
