The Lakeside Knights will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Linn Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Lakeside will be strutting in after a victory while Linn will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Lakeside was able to grind out a solid win over Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco], taking the game 53-43. The win was just what Lakeside needed coming off of a 79-48 defeat in their prior match.
Lakeside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reece Remus, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Remus is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Ian Kresin was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Linn came up short against Sylvan-Lucas on Friday and fell 54-47.
Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Linn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
