Liberty is 2-8 against WestSide since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Liberty Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the WestSide Renegades at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Liberty's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 78-49 loss at the hands of Wyoming East. Liberty has not had much luck with Wyoming East recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, WestSide took a serious blow against Tug Valley on Friday, falling 78-51. WestSide was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-15.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brayden French, who scored 19 points. Austin Bishop was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Liberty bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for WestSide, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Liberty beat WestSide 47-36 when the teams last played back in February. Does Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will WestSide turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
