This season hasn't been kind to the Chief Ivan Blunka Eagles, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They were dealt a 70-32 loss at the hands of Sand Point on Saturday. Chief Ivan Blunka was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.
It was another big night for Rowdy Tripp, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds for Sand Point. Tripp hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Kaiden Foster was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Chief Ivan Blunka's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sand Point, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Chief Ivan Blunka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sand Point will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Birchwood Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th.
