Easton Area has gone 9-1 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rovers will host the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Easton Area comes in on 12 and Liberty on three.
Easton Area is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over Emmaus. The result was nothing new for the Rovers, who have now won seven matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Easton Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cole Ordway, who rushed for 76 yards and one score, and also threw for 83 yards and one touchdown. Sean McPeek got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Easton Area was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 223 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 159 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Easton Area didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andrew Biddle and McPeek. McPeek got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Liberty earned a 26-14 win over Freedom on Saturday.
Easton Area better keep an eye on Antonio Fontanez. He was instrumental in Liberty's win, throwing for 230 yards and three TDs while completing 81% of his passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. Fontanez's passing game has become a key predictor of the Hurricanes' success: the team is 7-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Zyaire Davis was Fontanez's top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and one score.
Easton Area's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Ordway and Fontanez. Ordway just won't slow down this season and has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 97.7 passing yards per game. Fontanez has been a dominant force too and has thrown 35 touchdowns while averaging 233.5 passing yards per game.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Easton Area and Liberty have no problem gaining yardage. The Rovers have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 386.3 total yards per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging 382.6 total yards.
