Heritage can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Northwest Whitfield Bruins by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Generals: when they faced off against the Bruins last Thursday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Heritage's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-8. As for Northwest Whitfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

After both having extra time off, Heritage and Adairsville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on September 4. Northwest Whitfield has already played their next game (against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
