Meanwhile, Montgomery Catholic put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by West Blocton at home to the tune of 48-7. Considering Montgomery Catholic has won ten games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Montgomery Catholic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Mccreary out in front who threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jj Williams was another key contributor, gaining 157 total yards and two touchdowns.
T.R. Miller has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Montgomery Catholic, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record.
