While Red Jacket's win against Whitman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Red Jacket narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Whitman 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-8 on Monday.

Charlie Kolodzeski made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kolodzeski was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Barrett Weatherbee was incredible, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Dixon Hobart was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Red Jacket has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Whitman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
