In what's become a running theme this season, the Hesston Swathers gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They breezed by Riley County on the road  to the tune of  58-19. Given Hesston's advantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 28th, while Riley County is ranked 214th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Leading Hesston to victory were  Reed Friesen and  Jackson Fry.  Friesen  scored 16 points along with seven  rebounds and three  blocks, while  Fry  scored ten points along with nine  rebounds and seven  assists. Fry hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.  Karter Gonzalez was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 Hesston's victory was  their 14th straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.71 points. As for Riley County, they are  on a nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hesston will  square off against Pratt on Tuesday. Riley County won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Hillsboro on January 19th.
