Soccer Recap: Gregory The Great Academy Takes a Loss

Gregory The Great Academy lost against Mountain View back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Gregory The Great Academy took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain View. While losing is never fun, Gregory The Great Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Mountain View is ranked 133rd).

Gregory The Great Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mountain View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Gregory The Great Academy will head out to take on Dunmore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain View, they will venture away from home to face off against Scranton Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View are facing Scranton Prep at the right time seeing as Scranton Prep are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
