After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedar Catholic, the Osmond/Randolph Hawks were happy to have found some success on Friday. They breezed by Niobrara/Verdigre on the road to the tune of 64-36. That looming 64-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Osmond/Randolph yet this season.
Osmond/Randolph got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Xander Brown out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Ryan Engel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists.
Osmond/Randolph's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
